Your game.
Your voice.
What do we want our future of football to be?
Football belongs to the people who play it and watch it. For the first time, we all get a say in what it becomes.
-
Football has always been shaped in boardrooms, on behalf of the billions who play it and live for it. Unleash Football changes that by asking players and supporters everywhere what they want the future of the game to be — from the professional game to the park. Independent, global and non-partisan, it gives football’s people a collective voice at a scale never heard before.
How it works.
Have your say. Build the Mandate. Make it heard.
Your answers join everyone else’s to create the Football Mandate — what football’s people want, ranked by what matters most.
We take it to the people who run the game.
-
In just three minutes, on your phone and in your language, you share what matters most to you and what you would change first. Your answers are anonymised and combined with everyone else’s to build the Football Mandate — a collective picture of what football’s people want, ranked by their priorities and turned into evidence.
The football mandate.
Millions of voices. One shared agenda.
The first Football Mandate will reveal what football’s people want to change — and take those priorities directly to clubs, leagues and federations.
-
The Football Mandate turns millions of individual opinions into one shared agenda for the game. Published in November 2026, it will show what football’s people want to change, in the order they ranked it, and the number of people behind it. We will take it to clubs, leagues and federations — and publish how they respond.
Who we are
Founded by Juan Mata & Jürgen Griesbeck, co-founders of Common Goal.
“Now is the time. Football has the opportunity to be better and change, but we must act now to build a game that serves everyone.”
-
Unleash Football was founded by Juan Mata and Jürgen Griesbeck, co-founders of Common Goal, as the first initiative of C-Lab. Built on independence and transparency, it continues their belief that football can organise itself around something bigger than the next result — by listening to the people who play it, watch it and live it.
